What are you passionate about and how do you pursue that passion at PMA?
I’m passionate about providing the client with everything they require to make managing the cost side of their projects as accurate, detailed and understandable as possible. Every project and project manager is different and has different needs. I like to be able to customize my reporting to meet those needs.
What current project(s) are you working on?
All Cargill: Buffer Tanks, Canada Case Ready, and Cattle Drive. Just completed the Paddle project.
Who/what inspires you to push yourself? (Personal heroes, family members, ideas)
I’ve always been the type to push myself, but the support and acknowledgement of my PMA team and management have been additional encouragement to give my clients the best.
What are the most positive aspects of working at PMA? Or Share your impressions of PMA’s culture.
PMA is much more employee-driven than many companies. Obviously, as a consulting company, the client should always be our number one priority. However, PMA understands that the staff are really the company’s top commodity. Hiring talented people, giving them opportunities and respecting their opinions is why our clients work and stay with PMA.
What is something innovative happening in your industry that makes you excited about the future?
There has been continual growth in cost reporting, and I look forward to continuing to play an integral role in assisting clients with new technology.
What university or college did you graduate from?
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
What is your favorite local establishment/feature (restaurant, museum, stadium, etc.)?
In Chicago, I’ve always enjoyed the Field Museum. I go at least once a year or when they have special exhibits.
Provide a fun fact or secret talent about yourself?
My early career didn’t start in finance or accounting. I worked at a local television station and spent several years in the advertising and video production industry.
