Working in an intellectually stimulating environment with smart, driven individuals inspires me to push my limits and consistently grow. I am passionate about continuous learning and staying at the forefront of my field through professional development courses/training and self-improvement. I like to meet ambitious goals while demonstrating a strong work ethic. This approach enhances my capabilities and contributes to the collective success of PMA.

I support the Eversource team where I currently develop and manage three major program schedules, and a couple of other complex projects within the electric transmission & distribution utility space with a total of 44 projects. I am also involved in the DCAMM project as well.

Who/what inspires you to push yourself? (Personal heroes, family members, ideas)

My mother’s resilience as a single parent and an elementary school teacher taught me the importance of perseverance and hard work. My older siblings’ dedication to their goals has shown me the value of staying focused and committed. Additionally, my wife’s entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering support have been crucial in cheering me on at every stage of my growth. Together, these influences inspire me to push myself and strive for excellence in all my endeavors.

What are the most positive aspects of working at PMA?

The most positive aspects of working with PMA are the genuine commitment to my growth (both professional & personal development) and the positive company culture. A major standout aspect of the culture is that employees feel heard and valued. I believe individuals get motivated to contribute their best effort with the consciousness that your organization cares about your well-being and actively invests in your success. This is our everyday reality!

What is something innovative happening in your industry that makes you excited about the future?

The integration of AI in the construction industry excites me as it promises a future that will revolutionize project management and controls. Already, we have AI-powered tools that predict project timelines and budgets, improving planning and other key aspects of our work. Interestingly, PMA is well positioned at the forefront of this innovative journey, constantly developing proprietary tools and setting the pace for its competitors.

I earned my master’s in engineering management from Point Park University, Pittsburgh in 2018. I received my bachelor’s in civil engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria.

What is your favorite local establishment/feature (restaurant, museum, stadium, etc.)?

So far, the West End Grill remains my go-to for steak and other refreshing meals, plus the cocktail at the Granite Bar in Randolph, Massachusetts. I truly enjoy the fish dinner when I need that feeling from time to time.
