July 10, 2025
PMA’s NetPoint® and NetRisk® software tools help federal agencies plan smarter, reduce risk, and improve collaboration on major infrastructure programs. Available via the GSA Professional Services Schedule, these tools have been successfully deployed on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Federal Transit Administration high-profile, high-impact projects.

A Decade of Collaborative Planning with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has been a long-time partner in innovation with PMA. In 2010, PMA led a collaborative planning engagement session to introduce NetPoint® to key members of the Corps working in the innovation section.

At Camp Zama in Japan, PMA supported multifaceted military operations through detailed project controls and scheduling expertise. Using NetPoint, PMA facilitated coordinated time management across multiple military units through critical path analysis and resource planning.

In the San Francisco District, PMA led live planning sessions and visual scheduling services. Teams collaborated directly on a shared graphical plan, increasing coordination and improving schedule confidence, leading to successful on-time mission delivery with stronger team cohesion.

After many years of collaboration, this culminated in purchasing a substantial number of NetPoint licenses through the GSA Schedule, accompanied by ongoing technical support, software upgrades, and training services provided by PMA.

Risk-Informed Oversight for the Federal Transit Administration

“Our risk-informed analysis helped the FTA and project sponsors better understand schedule realism and potential delays, improving transparency and readiness.”

These tools gave the FTA objective, data-driven insights to evaluate funding risks and support better oversight of multibillion-dollar capital programs.
