Turning Data Into Delivery: PMA at the PMWeb Projections Conference 2026

June 02, 2026

The future of capital projects is being shaped in real time by the leaders delivering them. That idea set the tone for the PMWeb Projections Conference in San Diego this past April, where industry professionals came together to explore how innovation, leadership, and digital transformation are redefining project delivery.

Bringing together industry leaders, technology experts, and practitioners, the conference focused on how data-driven tools, integrated systems, and thoughtful implementation strategies are reshaping how organizations plan, execute, and manage complex programs.

A highlight of the conference was PMA’s PMIS Lead, Lowell Knauss, who delivered a featured presentation titled “PMIS Implementation: A Framework for a Successful Deployment.” Reflecting on the event, Lowell noted, “The PMWeb Projections Conference was a great event that brought together practitioners for meaningful conversations on how to transform organizations to be the best version of themselves.” His session outlined a comprehensive, structured approach to implementation, beginning with a clear understanding of an organization’s current state, defining a practical and scalable future state, and guiding teams through the organizational change required to get there. Emphasizing that technology alone does not drive success, Lowell focused on strategies for achieving sustained user adoption and long-term value from PMIS investments.

Also representing PMA at the conference were Jonathan Galuska and Rob Hoeg, who engaged with peers and clients on emerging trends in digital transformation and project controls. Their presence reinforced PMA’s commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation while strengthening relationships within the industry.

As the industry continues to evolve, the future of capital projects will be defined by leaders who can turn vision into execution. The PMWeb Projections Conference reinforced that progress isn’t driven by technology alone, but by structured, intentional approaches to change. Lowell’s framework reflects how that leadership takes shape in practice. Through this lens, PMA continues to help clients move beyond implementation to true transformation, where systems are not just executed, but fully embraced to deliver lasting impact.
