Marathon Petroleum Detroit Refinery
Overview
Marathon Petroleum Company has begun construction on its $2 billion Heavy Oil Upgrade project, known as DHOUP, at the Detroit Refinery. To support this project, many of the existing refinery systems require upgrading.
PMA Role
PMA assisted Marathon with project planning and scheduling support both during the engineering and implementation phases. As more projects entered implementation, Marathon further engaged PMA to provide assistance to the Marathon construction team in cost management, cost estimating, change management, and productivity analysis as well as with scheduling support.
