Overview
Wayne State University’s (WSU) Design and Construction Services Department is responsible for managing all stages of design and construction on campus. The department has a capital construction project team that provides general improvement construction project management. Projects managed by this group vary in size.
PMA Role
PMA provides procurement services on this contract. Tasks include drafting requests for proposals (RFP) to assist WSU in procuring multiple architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to support their program. Work scope also includes evaluating WSU current processes, preparing RFPs, participating in vendor interviews, and facilitating the vendor proposal evaluation and selection. Due to WSU satisfaction on prior projects on this contract, WSU reengaged PMA for additional procurement services assistance.
